Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2’s regional Pokedex to include approximately 300 Pokemon

Unlike the first Pokemon Black and Pokemon White games where you could only encounter Pokemon native to the Unova region (until you obtain the National Pokedex), Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will feature approximately 300 Pokemon in its regional Pokedex! Since the first Pokemon Black and Pokemon White games introduced 156 new Pokemon to the Pokemon world, we can expect about 140 Pokemon from the previous generations to appear in Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2. So far, the official Japanese Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 web site has revealed that the following Pokemon will be appearing in the games: Maril, Psyduck, Buneary, Eevee, Mareep, Riolu, Tyranitar, Lapras, Arcanine, Metagross and Weavile. Including their pre-evolutions and evolutions, that amounts to 30 Pokemon already, and leaves about 110 out of the 463 Pokemon left to choose from. Please note that this is just our speculation. The number of returning Pokemon could be lower than 140 because Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 may feature brand new Pokemon. Remember this post?
