First Meloetta plushie revealed!

Popular toy company, Banpresto, held an expo in Japan over the weekend to showcase its newest lines of toys that will be released soon. Of course, Pokemon toys were present at the expo because how can you have a toy expo in Japan without Pokemon toys?

During the expo, Banpresto revealed its Meloetta plushie, which also happens to be the first Meoletta plushie ever to be revealed!

Isn’t it precious? I bet Meloetta plushies, figures and other merchandise will be a big hit with the female fans in Japan.

No release date was announced, however, it’s speculated that the Meloetta will be released in July, right around the movie’s release date.

Off topic, but is anyone else annoyed that Meloetta is genderless? I know it’s a legendary Pokemon but it should be 100% female in my opinion. I suppose it’s better that it’s genderless and not 50% male or 50% female. It reminds me of the Gallade and Gardevoir situation. Gallade is 100% male but Gardevoir has the chance of being either gender?
